From the streets of Fremantle to Sydney's ANZ Stadium and all around the world, Mike Nayar has clocked over 20 years as a professional musician and songwriter.

Since 1998 Mike has been developing his skills as a performer. Fronting well know Perth cover bands Audioperv and
SideFX, as well as U.S based original band My So-Called Life, he has forged a solid reputation for his passion, professionalism and self taught music ability.

Mike received international recognition when he moved to America in 2012 to record his debut album with MSCL. It was his time in Los Angeles working with producer Brandon Friesen (The HU, Sum41) that inspired him to expand into music production. Enjoying the creative challenge that came with writing original compositions, Mike soon began branching out into other styles, collaborating on various projects from Country to Pop and even RnB.

At the start of 2016, Mike took his network of connections in the music industry and in partnership with long time collaborator and close friend Tony Croce, started The Guitar Strap Company. Mikes unique input into their products innovative designs helped bring new life to an otherwise stale market for musical accessories. With support from a number of celebrities including Gene Simmons (KISS) and Billy Joe Armstrong (Green Day) the company soon gathered world wide acclaim. Their appearance later that year on the television show Shark Tank saw them sign a $100K deal with Janine Allis and together, they secured a solid foot hold in the international market.

In 2019 at The NAMM Show in Anaheim California, TGSCo stole the show by setting a world record for the most expensive guitar strap ever made. Designed and handmade by artist Colin Burn, the aptly named "The Show Stopper"
was valued at $1.2 million and quickly became the talking point of the convention that year.

In 2021, Mike decided to broaden his horizons and set his sights on becoming an actor. In less than a year, with no formal training, he managed to take some giant leaps in the world of musical theatre, securing roles in no less than 4 major shows with the highly acclaimed group, HAMA Productions.
Two of these at the prestigious Crown Casino theatre with Legally Blonde The Musical as Head of Harvard Admissions, Professor Winthrop and The Wizard Of Oz as the titular character himself. He then appeared on stage at the historic Regal Theatre in The Little Mermaid as Prince Eric's lovable sidekick Grimsby and again in his first lead role as Cat In The Hat in Seussical The Musical.

Signing with PADWA in 2022, Mike is now developing a career in film and television with several commercials, a TV mini series and even a major Australian motion picture already under his belt.

Internationally recognized singer/songwriter, accomplished artist, entrepreneur, award winning master of ceremonies and celebrated up-and-coming actor. Mike Nayar is considered one of Western Australia's finest all-round performers, who loves to entertain and does so with great charm and razor sharp wit.
